The consortium meeting was generously hosted by the MedTech Valley, a part of the Capital Medical University which supports the consolidation of partnerships, technology transfer and incubator services in health Research and Innovation.
The meeting started with a welcome speech from our host followed by a presentation of the SENET’s objectives and the European programmes H2020 and Horizon Europe from our European Project’s Officer Rosanna D’Amario, who we were really honoured to have with us.
The findings of the work package one have been presented, which was the opportunity to summarise the major agreements and funding agencies for health collaboration between the EU and China, as well as an analyse of the health priorities in both areas based on the survey (launched In July and opened until the project’s end) to give us a better understanding of the state of collaboration in health Research & Innovation between Europe and China.
We then presented the work accomplished for work packages two and three and identified some interesting ideas to redesign and strengthen the SENET expert’s meetings. During the day, the project’s team have been informed that the Chinese partners of SENET will be financed for the project from the 2020/01/01. Congratulation!
The meeting was closed with the visit of the European Delegation for the EU-China Research & Innovation Cooperation, based in Beijing. It was a real pleasure to meet them and an interesting moment to exchange views and ideas for an increased cooperation with China.
